You might look at Clonezilla.

If you're building Redhat Linux stuff you may want to consider kickstart perhaps with pxeboot, it would be able to build a customised server and won't matter if there are any hardware differences where an image would like to go back to the same or identical hardware.

thanks also these images will be primarily to windows xp machines and Windows 2003 server. I will check on both of these also which one is the simplest to use or setup?  Thanks for the help once again
PXE boot works well with Windows if you've got a supported NIC and BIOS.  I've never used g4u, but if you're familiar with imaging applications like Ghost, Clonezilla is similar.  I'm not sure if its been changed much since I last used it, but server edition should work fine for your needs.
