Ive got three servers running backup exec v11.
I purchased backup exec v12, and would just like to know the steps to perform the upgrade on all three servers.
Is there an option in the current v11 UI that i use to perform the upgrade ? or do ijust run the v12 .exe and it will give me the option to upgrade ?
Will all my cureent backup jobs etc be retained in the upgrade.
Also, what about the remote agents ? how do i push the latest agents to my servers ?

Hi AndrewLeg,

Depending on the licence you bought! Did you buy an upgrade licence or new licence. If it's an upgrade, you must not uninstall v11. If it's a full version, it's adviced to uninstall the old version before installing the new version. Some services issue I think.
