JDBC Driver is not on the classpath

Am new to weblogic. Am using the tools are, Weblogic8.1 version MySql5.0,mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar file. While testconfiguration of connection pooling am getting the error is "JDBC Driver is not on the classpath".
I have tried all the options specified in the below link.

How can i solve this problem?plz help me

Hi there;

did you try for:
set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;C:\javalibs\mysql\mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar

If fails:

I hope you use the Windows environment.

On desktop:
1)Right click My Computer -> Advanced tab -> Environment Variables.
2)Edit Classpath variable if already exist or
Add new variable as classpath with complete path location of your mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar .
suppose if your jar file is in C:\jarfiles then
Add as "C:\jarfiles\mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar ;"
and click OK..

Best regards...

then restart Weblogic Server
