C++ V6 -> VS2003->VS2008 how to fix and error related to a HCW help file

Hi everyone,

I ported a old VS c++ V6 to VS2003 and then finally to VS2008.  I'm getting a build error pop-up that says the following...

"Windows cannot find HCW.  Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

I think this is related to a help (dynamic?) file?  Perhaps in an older standard or something?  Can someone please show me, perhaps with an example of how to fix this and/or eliminate it?

Let me please give you my gracious thank you in advance.

Cheers - Dynotoe

I don't think hcw is included with VS2008.  Your project still includes a step to build the old help files.  If you have a copy of hcw hanging around, add it's path to system PATH or I think you can add the path into Visual Studio directly.

Otherwise, you can remove the help build step from the project and don't worry about the help files.
