C++ Add in for HP WinRunner

I'm trying to create a dll containing widget information from the Qt toolkit from Trolltech.
I'm using the WinRunner automation testing tool to test a Qt-based application and want the UI to expose its attributes more transparently.

No, As per my knowledge  WinRunner isn't able to identify Qt widgets properly. If you are looking
for a complete automated GUI testing framework which works well together with
Qt applications and Qt components, please have a look at Squish at

or you can have a look at KD Executor. (www.ics.com/qt) It provides a capture/replay
capability that might do what you need

but you can test this with HP's QTP(which is called as impoved version of Winruuner generaaly)

Thanks Suveer.
I've checked out KDE and FrogLogic but we're married to WinRunner.
QTP isn't any better at recognizing Qt widgets, unfortunately.

Thanks anyways.

Hi Experts,
Any comments/solution for this question is highly appreciated...
but devwillie it is very difficult for you to find solution for this...
you should get reply from experts only as HP already announced they are not going to give the support for winrunner users
they have totally migrated to QTP.

i'm also eagerly waiting for the solution for your query

since there is no support for winrunner tool now....
i told him that it is not possible....

so in this context it is a right answer i guess so atleast some points has to assign for that comment.
