Nortel serial cable pinout

I have two Nortel switches that I need to setup, but no can seem to find a serial cable that is pinned out correctly.

What is the pin out ?  Is it simpler to buy ?

Thanks

This should work with a straight through DB-9 cable, female to female for use with a PC.

nope, nortel requires crossed(null modem) db-9.
so I use cisco cable with rj45 at the other end + null-modem cisco module

What type of console cable does the Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5510 use?
Fact:
Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5510

Problem Resolution

Fix:

Ask our telco team for some female DB9 to RJ45 connectors, should have them first of next week.

I will set it up straight through first and then with a null modem, I will keep you posted.

Straight through worked, Need to hit "Ctrl - Y" to get the main menu.
