Antcall vs target depends=***

What is the difference between antcall and calling another target from one target using depends attribute.
Ex< target name="abc" depends="anotherTarget">

On internet the following is the definition given about antcall task:
Call another target within the same buildfile optionally specifying some properties (params in this context). This task must not be used outside of a target.

With both you can call a target. Depends It is particularly useful for handling dynamic dependencies that change based on some input conditions/parameters, or when the dependencies are not known until runtime. With depends the target where u call it, does not run until the dependencies finish, also is easier to know the order that your targets will run.
