Just remove the object tag (lines 47-51) and add an image 980 pixels wide  instead

So,

take out:

<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="980" height="240" id="flash" align="middle">
                                                <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
                                                <param name="movie" value="images/flash.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />
                                                <embed src="images/flash.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="980" height="240" name="flash" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
                                                </object>

and replace with:

<img src="image_name.extension" width="980" height="240">

Thank you so much - another quick question: When I define the width, height does the system simply stretch an image to be that way? Meaning I can use any image the system will make it that size?

Yes, you can use any image size and the system will stretch the image to fit the dimensions you have specified.

If you are actually using an image that size then you could get away without specifying the dimensions, but the page will draw quicker if image sizes are specified and content won't move around the page as it loads.

So it is good practice  to.

Excellent. It works. But the picture I have looks too stretched. . .so I want to do the following: Put a couple of pictures next to each other. But when I do the following it puts them one BELOW another. How can I put them NEXT to each other?
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
				<tr>
					<td>
					<img src="images/logo1.gif" width="580" height="240">
                    <img src="images/logo2.gif" width="580" height="240">
					</td>
				</tr>
				</table>

Try the valign="top" tag.

ie: <td valign="top">

Or make them into one picture
