Where's the Font folder

I was under the belief that the font folder on a Windows based PC is under Windows/Systems/Fonts, however I cannot find it there.
I am mostly a Mac user, so the PC is a little less convenient for me, but I need to install the font.

Please, this is kind of urgent!

Standard path is C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
You can also type '$fonts' into an explorer window or the run box to open the font directory. This will work no matter what it is located.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

I never heard of that andrew - so I tried it - it doesn't work (a least on XP).

sscout is correct about the font location, but you can also go to control panel, fonts and do the same thing...

1.This where they are stored.

When you click on Fonts in the Control Panel you are just directed to the folder above

2.Start > Control Panel > Fonts is where all the fonts are stored:

3.If you're looking for fonts located outside the font folder do a search of your computer for *.ttf
That's asterix dot ttf
Take note of the locations of any files found.
In Control Panel > Fonts select Menu > Install new font...
Navigate to the folders you found, select and install the fonts

4.If you want to repair the font folder, tweakui is the best bet,

Download tweakui here: goto Repair section

Interesting, you don't feel a split between sscount, myself, and sk_raja_raja was appropriate?  Considering we posted much of what sk_raja_raja said first (he did add more information, which is why I think he deserves a share of a split...
yeah..i am surprised to seel all points assigned to me.....probably the moderator should help to split the points...
