I need to Identify the unique rows and put the number of times they are duplicated next to them.
I have tried the following from your existing response to another fellow:

SELECT cust_name, COUNT(*) AS count_name
FROM sometable
GROUP BY cust_name

I tried putting this into a recordset with Dreamweaver and it chokes.
Any ideas?

    Accepted Solution

I suggest cross-posting this to a dreamweaver zone.

Your sql statement is correct syntax for all of the major databases.

So either your "choke" is something trivial like a misspelled column or table name

    or it's a dreamweaver problem

This is my first request for support.
It did not really help other than redirect my query to another area and I don't have the energy to pursue it here.  I was hoping somebody with dreamweaver experience might have picked out what isn't working.
