Solved DataList update doesn't reset panel

I'm running an 2.0 DataList, in the  <EditItemTemplate> I have an update procedure which is triggered fine, but on postback, the update panel has not reset ( it  is still in edit mode).  It resets on Cancel, and even if I call the cancel procedure at the end of the update, it still doesn't reset.  One way or another the DataList.EditItemIndex = -1 which I thought was the message to reset.

    Accepted Solution

DataList.EditItemIndex = -1 typically used in the end of both cancel and update procedures. Remembering to also rebind the data to the DataList, of course. So if you do this in the end of your update procedure  if should "reset" back to normal mode. Could you supply a bit of code maybe? :)
