shows still shows 1.1 only.

Hi Experts,

I have installed VS2008" and I have created new website called "Website30" byusing visual Studio 2008 and i have choosen framework version 3.0. I did a build it is clean build no errors. I ran the website it is running fine. By default,Port number "1179 " is assaigned  to  the website. i..e, "http://localhost:1179/website30/default.aspx.

But when i go to properties of  "Computer Management ->services and applications->Internet Information Services->WebSites->Default website->Website30", version it shows as 1.1.432". Does it mean that is is still using .net famework 1.1 only.
If so how can i set 3.0 in version feild of the properties of "Computer Management ->services and applications->Internet Information Services->WebSites->Default website->Website30"

Please let me know.

In that dropdown, where you read  1.1.432, you should have an option to change to 2.0.527.
That's the one you want to use.

thanks for your reply. Even for 3.5 with .net framework 3.5 also will it be 2.0.527 in the dropdown box of the properties of "Computer Management ->services and applications->Internet Information Services->WebSites->Default website->Website30". Please let  me know .
Also what is mean by version in the dropdown dox. Is it compiler versions or some thing else..
Yes, even for 3.5. 3.5 uses the 2.0 CLR, as 2.0.
By version, it means what .NET version the site is running. As I've said above, 3.5 is 2.0, in regards to IIS.
