Client Push or Remote Tools Not working

Hello,

I get the following System error on my SCCM 2007 server:
Event ID: 10009
Source: DCOM
Type: Error

Description:
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer %computername% using any of the configured protocols.

I get this error whenI try to use Remote tools, or install the client using the "client Push" function.

History - I rebuilt this server from scratch after some OS issues. It had Server 2003 R2 (SP2) with SCCM 2007 installed.
It is the same now as it was - plus I installed SQL on the server before installing SCCM again, to use the same server for the database and management point. All in one.

I kept the same site code and boundaries, hoping it would work, but it does not work on any clients.

Please advise.
Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Run DCDIAG and netdiag both in verbose mode and look for any failures.

I hope this helps !

Sorry guys. We rolled out 60 odd workstations all with the firewall enabled, but with the client installed at the same time.
My apologies.

The Windows XP firewalls were enabled on the workstations when we rolled them out for our refresh project. I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience.
