Win 2000 switching from dial up problem

I am switching from a netzero dial up connection to dsl, i can ping the dsl router, but can't get outside the router to the internet.  other pc's that did not have dial are working fine.  it seems like it is wanting to use the dial up when going in to a browser....any ideas on how to disable this....

Assuming you are using Internet Explorer, go into Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections and check the radio button "Never dial a connection" ... T
