Keyboard and mouse does not work
Hi experts,
I have a problem. Every once in awhile, when I start Windows, the task bar icons fails to load. That interestingly causes my keyboard and mouse not to work. For the mouse, clicking does not work. But I can move the cursor.
Any ideas why this is happening? Is it because of a virus or trojan or stuff like that? Or is XP just corrupted? I actually hoped the problem would be solved by updating windows from SP2 to SP3. Does not help. Oh yeah, they work in safe mode though. Could a process like Norton AV be causing the problem in normal mode? This is a recent problem.
Thanks

you could try running Malewarebytes in safe mode to see if there are any trojans or maleware messing with your system.
you can download malewarebytes here:
