how can i create a form with email links in Adobe dreamweaver

I am trying to create a form in dream weaver that will send an email to me when the submit button is clicked. do i need java to do this? i also want the information entered on the formed to be saved.

    You would need some servers side code such as Coldfusion, PHP or ASP to perform the email and catch all of the submitted form variables.

    you could give the <form> an action of but that literally pops up the users default email client e.g. outlook and wouldn't necessarily email you (i.e. they could stop the process).
