what are /u13, /u19......... in unix and how they are managed?

these are directories which could be separate file systems on separate disks or disks partitions.

if you run

df -k

then you will get theses file systems

Those are application related file systems, which defined application team.. use names what ever you need..

how u create these directories ? does the administrator create these directories and can once it is created, can we change the size of these directories
