Im looking for an Ethernet &nbsp;device which would have its own ip address and to which I could connect USB devices. &nbsp;Then I could connect the USB device to my network. &nbsp;This USB device is a video / audio device and I cannot load drivers onto it. &nbsp;I have searched Google and I cannot find any such device. &nbsp; They must exist somewhere. &nbsp;I must be using the wrong keywords I guess. &nbsp;I have searched Newegg, Amazon, CDW, Provantage.<br />

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol.
