return content length from iplanet to proxy

Hi: Actually I am using iPlanet. I use proxy to do authentication, then forward some headers to my application and then html is fetched from iPlanet and redirect to proxy. The problem is that sometime content length is not send. Hence the page does not function well. Does someone knows how to set iPlanet so that the content length of every response to proxy would be set, hence would be sent.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As i've already mentioned to you, the content length is (or should be) *always* sent when that is known. When it's not possible to know it, it's not possible to send it
