Getting prompted for password with every app install?

I have OS 10.5.

When I install an application, I get prompted for the admin password, that is ok I guess.

I'm trying to run a python install script, and it fails because it's not prompting me for the password in the script I guess.

Is there a way for me to disable the admin password requirement while I run this python script?

use sudo before running the installer it will prompt you for the password after that you should be fine.

or just use

sudo /bin/bash

to get a root shell.
