on PC1, i have run kiwi syslog service

and on PC2, i have run datagram syslog agent

i kiwi syslog, i dont get any logs, i want to get security logs from PC2

    The client configuration looks good.

    1. Make sure the kiwi service on PC1 is running. Since you're using UDP, there is no response from the server you're sending the message to, so the client won't report any errors if the message isn't delivered.
    2. Make sure your firewall rules on PC1 will allow inbound UDP connections to port 514.
    3. The one I hesitate to ask, but are there new events being written to the security log?
