Symantec Backup Exec setup

Is that anyone that can help me with optimum configuration of Symantec Backup Exec 11d and setup notification via email. I need a daily backup on Tape Drive. The drive is installed but i need help with the setting up the backup schedule

    The backup schedule is largely determined by your data size, restore speed, etc. If you are not backing up that much data you could do full backups each night. This would be the quickest method to restore data if ever needed. If you have large amounts of data this will take a while to run and may need multiple tapes.

    You could also setup a system of a full backup once per week and then differential or incrementals during the week. This will backup less data and have faster jobs but will take longer to restore.

    There are a bunch of different tape rotations Grandfather, Father, Son is the most common though.

    I would reccomnd posting some more info on what your trying to accomplish. Specifically how much data is being backed up.

    Ok, basically what i'm trying to do is backup everything
    I think a full backup will do what i need to. I will be able to run a full backup every night. Is there documentation available on setting this up?
