Public Folders query

We are using Exchange 2003 and I had a couple of PF related queries.

Our Exch environment has several Administrative group, reflecting continents across the world (US, Europe, Asia, Africa).

If some PF folder items (e.g. HR) is created/stored on a server in US, can users in Europe access them? Is it possible for different servers to hold different PF server data, or should we really have one PF server that is replicated to all Exch servers?

And is PF replication affected by routing groups?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

yes, users in Europe can access the PF that are on the US server.
all the servers having public folder stores will hold the PF hierarcy but the content will only be on the servers that have been set as replication partners for PF replication.
