how to lock file in solaris ?

How can I lock a file in solaris.. I had seen something like -rwl------ or -rlx------ as a file permission somewhere.
But I forgot how to get this ? can someone please help me ?

See the man page for chmod. You can set the Mandatory locking bit with chmod. I am not sure that it is going to do what you want though. Depends on what you want.
