How do I restore a MS CRM 4.0 database from backup

I have CRM backup files withe the extension *.bak. How do I restore those databases?

.BAK is the extension for a SQL database that is backed up.
If you go into SQL and choose Restore Database and you point to that file you should be well on your way.

You can even restore to its original name (it will appear in the dropdown after you select the file.  make sure you select the checkbox for the file and on the options page, set your file paths correctly (they will have the old server file paths which may be correct on this server)
