MS Access date notification

Currently I am using Access for a customer database, In my database table, there is a column for the date the Customer Transaction took place. My goal is to make access inform me that it has been x years since the transaction and the customer must be called. For example if a job was done Jan 1st 2005, i may want the program to inform me on jan 1st 2009 that it is time to call the customer for another job. Is this possible?
Thank You

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1- Make a function for Inquiry about that.

2- Put  acode in application main form_open event

3- If it true , display a msgbox about this.
