MS Access date notification

Currently I am using Access for a customer database, In my database table, there is a column for the date the Customer Transaction took place. My goal is to make access inform me that it has been x years since the transaction and the customer must be called. For example if a job was done Jan 1st 2005, i may want the program to inform me on jan 1st 2009 that it is time to call the customer for another job. Is this possible?
Thank You

You can attempt to use a Macro where conditions are set to email when the trigger occurs.

1- Make a function for Inquiry about that.

2- Put  acode in application main form_open event
to call this function.

3- If it true , display a msgbox about this.

sorry it's short but I have no details
If you provide more details , I can give more help
