How to Create MX Record

We have a registered domain; for example xyz.co.in and we have Windows 2003 AD with internal DNS Server. The AD domain name is abc.com. We have only one Exchange 2003 Server running as a Backend Server on the DC. Exchange Server's FQDN is mail.abc.com. It has two NICs, one is configured with Pulic Static IP and another is configured as Private LAN IP. Users access mail throuth Outlook Web Access (OWA) using the following URL:
https://<Public Static IP>/Exchange and it is accessible from outside world also.

We have no Firewall in place (planning to buy it lateron).

Now I want to access OWA by the following URL:
https://mail.xyz.co.in/Exchange

I know for accessing mail server by its name we have to create MX pointer, but I don't know how create it ? Please note that we have only internal Active Directory DNS server .

Please tell me in details about creating MX Pointer with details as I am totally new on this matter.
