NT backup wont run I get the following error


Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
Timeout before function completed

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:0xffffffff.

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:ffffffff
Aborting Backup.

I tried those steps from the KB article but same error message

Can you try to reboot the server and run the command below:

vssadmin list writers

Is your volume shadow copy service under services.msc set to disabled? Can check on that. There should be details like mine.

You can try it on Windows XP, it should have result.
