I have a IsDate() function in my custom validator. Everything works fine, though when picking a date with the AJAX calendarextender formatted "ddd dd MMM yyyy" the custom validator fires an errormessage. Is there a workaround?

As isdate() is not a inbuilt function - please post the code of your custom validator isdate() function. I think you have to modify the isdate() function

Thanks for your help. I use the dd MMM yyyy format which is recognised as a valid date format by the IsDate() function.

IsDate() is not a inbuilt function in javascript, but it is a function of vbscript. I got confused what you are using for validation vbscript or javascript.

Anyway congratulation on finding your solution.
