Outlook 2007 - cant open contacts from a new email after hitting to: but the contacts are there ......

Windows Error:
The address could not be displayed. The contacts folder with
the address list could not be opened.  It may have been moved or deleted
, or you do not have permission.  For information on how to remove this folder from the outlook address book

Possible cause. New laptop, New op sys / new outlook setup.  I renamed the original default outlook.pst to outlook.pst-old  and dropped in my old outlook.pst file
from a backup.  Open it and all was fine.  Emails send/receive. Contacts are there.  Except this problem .

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello worded,

You need to enable Contacts Database As An Email Address Book in Outlook 2007. You may need to delete the old address book first.
