When migrating to new AD master, will custom extended schema replicate?

I am migrating my current Win2003 R2 AD to a Win2008 server.

I've added some custom schema to my Win2003 R2 AD schema - Apple OC's and attributes for client management and custom attributes for internal use.

Will this schema automatically replicate to the new Win2008 AD server during adprep/dcpromo?  Or must I add this schema to the other server manually?

    Accepted Solution

Once the new machine is promoted to a DC it should replicate schema information from the other DCs in the network, including your custom schema items.
