Hi:

I tried to find the binary but did not find.
Could you give more detailed information?

Thank you.

On the sunfreeware site, you'll see the list of all the packages available.  Just scroll down the list for your Solaris version and click on "Subversion"

Can you provide with an output of uname -a command here?

Go to http://sunfreeware.com/

Assuming you are on a Solaris 10 sparc system, scroll down the list of packages in the bottom right hand side of the page.

They are in alphabetical order, so you'll eventually scroll down to

subversion-1.4.3
subversion-1.5.4

Then just click on the version that you want to download.  That's it.

I got the binary from sunfreeware.com
  subversion-1.5.4-sol10-x86-local

But when I use "pkgadd -d" to add it, it failed because I do not have /usr/local directory
and could not create it even with root user.

Is there some way to install it in other place instead of /usr/local ?

can you make a directory as root with the following command?
mkdir -r /usr/local

TintinCommented:
If you can't make /usr/local as root, I suspect you are trying to install it in a zone, in which case, you'll need to install subversion in the global zone, which will then ensure all the zones on that server will also have access to it.
