Alignment issues with Zerox Phaser 7760

We use a Zerox Phaser 7760 here. We use an expensive high quality paper in tray 5, and a cheaper lower quality paper in tray 4. When we print to tray 5, everything is fine. When we print to tray 4 the picture is always off center. All internal print settings seem to be fine and the driver is up to date. It only happens when we use that one tray...any suggestions?

Try running "Calibrate margins".

From the printer's front panel menu, go to Printer Setup > Calibration Setup > Calibrate Margins. Select tray 5 to calibrate. I assume that in your case it will be side 1 that's off centre, but it lets you shift both sides indiviually. Start by printing out the calibration page, which has instructions on how to do the calibration.

BTW, in case you have not already done so, I strongly recommend running Calibrate Colors (from the same menu) from time to time to keep the colours accurate. Do it at least every time you replace an imaging unit.
