Error 2455 - invalid reference to Form/Report on a null recordset

I am getting an Error 2455  - invalid reference to Form/Report on this line:

If Forms!frmAccountParameters!frmDisbAccountingSub.Form.RecordsetClone.RecordCount = 0 Then

The form that it is referring to has a recordset of no records, so I wonder if that is the problem.  This has worked for a few years, so don`t know why it is throwing an error now.

Any ideas?
