Me.Response.Redirect loads a white screen

Hi everyone,

I am unsure why, but whenever i call Me.Response.Redirect(MyURL) it opens a white page, If i copy the url from MyURL and paste it manually into a browser it works perfectly.

There is definitely nothing wrong with the MyURL so i am absolutely baffled as to why this is not working.

    Hi Iocdang,

Which version of ASP.Net are you using?

Testing with ASP.NET 2 with Visual Studio 2005
Should work without issue.  Also in your debugging are you using the built in web server within visual studio (assuming your using VS) or IIS/Mono?

I've attached a code snip of what I just tested.
    Partial Class _Default
        Inherits System.Web.UI.Page
Protected Sub form1_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles form1.Load
        End Sub
    End Class

This project has to run under ASP Net 1.1.4322 and is working fine on another server. And the server it is running on is a clone of the current one. (have to love virtual environments)

    Accepted Solution

The issue was smart redirection, it was turned on in the page HTML. All is ok now.
