"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i'm not sure,
but if it can't be done,
you can write a procedure that receives a database name as a parameter and drops it
you can invoke stored procedures through linked server so this will solve your problem

I figured it out...

you can do something like this:
set @str = 'EXEC servernamemaster..sp_executesql N' + char(39)+'drop database databasename+char(39)
exec(@str)
