Converting table PK from INT to GUID in SQL Server 2005

HI
I need to convert production database table PK from INT to GUID.
The table PK is a FK in other database tables.

I have found this solution:
http://beyondthispoint.blogspot.com/2007/04/converting-primary-key-type-in-sql.html

But, it seems too much complicated and risky.

I will be glad to accept any simpler & safe solution

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

that's the way to go. you need a "mapping" table of the INT and the GUID table, and update from there.
