Run and .exe on a pen drive from citrix
Hi Guys,
I have encrypted a USb pen drive using Pointsec Protector. This installs an .exe onto the pen drive that the user will then run and insert a password etc. In our citrix enviroment we allow users to map network drives etc. I can see the drive and the .exe from Citrix, but it will not allow me to run the .exe and thus unlocking the pen drive. The following error comes up :
Windows cannot acces the the specified device,path or file. You may not have the approirate permissions to access the item
I have tried Run as and this comes up with :
T:\Unlock.exe
The SPecifed path does not exist
Check the path and then try again
The pen drive and the .exe works FINE outside of citrix.
Anyone got any ideas please ?

assuming it is a permission problem..log on to citrix as an administrator, then try it..rather than just 'run as' from a standard user

Hi, Thanks for advice, but even as Domain Administrator i am still getting the above error :(
do you have a policy on citrix blocking users running .exe's?
