I have some laptops using roaming profiles, this particular laptop will only download the profiles from the server but will not copy them back to the server at logoff, I have quaduple checked the permissions on the folder i have removed unncecessary items from startup with msconfig, and i have also verified that the server has adequate storage space. right now i am stumped. I realize that this may have started since i istalled thunderbird on that computer but i was thinking that that shouldnt be an issue since i have thunderbird running on quite a few other hosts any help provided would be helpful.

Thanks

Have you tried deleting the local profile (take copy or rename first) and then try logging in and logging off again?

Get free NFR key for Veeam Availability Suite 9.5

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license (1 year, 2 sockets) to all certified IT Pros. The license allows for the non-production use of Veeam Availability Suite v9.5 in your home lab, without any feature limitations. It works for both VMware and Hyper-V environments

Is this laptop connecting wirelessly or through a cable?  If wireless, do you get different results when using a cable?

I found out what the problem was the time time on the local system was set to an older date so the more recent version of the profile (which was on the server) kept being downloaded back to the client
