In the end I reinstalled the Secondary DC away from the network and made the original primary the Primary again.

Ive setup 2 DC's together and eventually got DNS and AD working together.<br />

Ive been monitoring the Event viewer:<br />
<br />
Primary DC - says that I need to backup data as HDD will fail very soon.<br />

Resolution:<br />

1. How do I switch control from Primary DC to Secondary DC?<br />
2. How do I switch back once installed software back to how it was?<br />
3. I only installed Win 2003 server, SP2 &amp;&nbsp;Suptools &nbsp;and 5 Windows Updates, so once Ive put that back<br />
and reconnected Primary Server will it join DOMAIN, add AD &amp;&nbsp;DNS automatically?<br />

Note: &nbsp;Then I can presumably replace Hdd
