Uninstalling the network adapter in device manager is faster than rewritting your loopback routes. When you restart the computer the adapter will be reinstalled with fresh routes. If you cant get to the internet after that your virus is still active and blocking routes. also make sure the firewall is off. If you are proxied ensure the internet enhanced security is turned off.

I will keep you informed

chrisdunn_6Commented:
just uninstall in device manager and have someone onsite restart the computer. Its not a problem with the nic its the routing table.

chrisdunn_6Commented:
also hope you dont have time sensitive databases as restore point will kill everything from today to your restore point.

chrisdunn_6Commented:
another option batch file
set this batch file in task manager to run 2 minutes after you uninstall the nic

::start
shutdown -r -t 06 -c "resarting to reinstall nic"
exit

Fire fox will work but last resort before reinstalling you may still be infected by signatures that arent detected by symantec.

At this time chrisdunn_6: I am going to accept your solutions.

the Restore worked data isn't kept on local systems.
If it goes down again I will do the uninstall of the NIC and then go from there.

thank you for your help.
