Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

what kind of errors do you get?

In the event log on the server you mean?  Because the above error described is received in the users mail box in which ActiveSync is configured.

The event log is actually very clean.  I haven't been able to track an event that corresponds to this issue.

This appears to occur only when someone sends a calendar invite from outside our Exchange organization.  Something to do with Icalender......  Any ideas?

Because I work fora company that is a Gold Certified Partner, I decided to use one of my issue tickets to figure this one out.  I now have a very nice Pakistani from Microsoft working to resolve this.  I will let you know how it turns out.

I ended up forwarding this along to Microsoft for further analysis.  They have an internal code guy working on it.  I think it is a bug.  Hopefully we will see an update before long that will address it.
