exchange was never uninstalled from the 2003 server. &nbsp;it was joined to a workgroup after the 2007 exchange was changed to its original name. &nbsp;we just changed the name of the new 2007 exchange server to soemthing else on the domain and tried to rejoin the 2003 server to the domain as its former name. &nbsp;<br />

it shows up in computers and users. &nbsp; but it hangs on applying computer settings.<br />
