How do I stop the clicking sound :(

I have an app based on CHtmlView.  Every time a link is clicked or a page refreshes, a very annoying clicking sound is heard.  I want my app to be silent!  What is the code to accomplish this?

The solution I linked to works ok.  But if someone has a better solution, I'm all ears. :)

Or if you meant just on your local machine.

I am not sure what this link is?  Is there a setting for sound?  I should also add that some of the pages I go to using the app are on a web server and some are on the local machine (that does not have a web server)  and therefore probably a web configuration file may not work when the page is local.  Is there a c++ command to disable the sound for the app?

I can't expect my users to change an operating system setting just for my app.  Besides, I use IE and Firefox for web browsing and neither one clicks when I load a page.  It only does it when I go to a page using this app with the CHtmlView.  I am hoping there is a c++ way to resolve this.
