How do I remove check boxes from the parent node of a Treeview control in C# if it has sub nodes?

I would like to remove check boxes from the parent node of a tree view control if the parent node has sub nodes, if there are no sub nodes then the parent control should have a check box.  Is this possible with a tree view control in C#?

    Sorry, it's either all or nothing when using CheckBoxes in a TreeView control.
