How to remove Trial Software
I just got a new Acer Aspire aoa150-1570, it came with lots of free trial software none of which I want.
Office Depot wanted $99.00 to remove the free trial software! (That stinks) So I figured I would try removing it using Control Panel Add Remove Programs.
First Program I wanted to remove was McAfee (sucks) and it allowed me t proceed with trhe removal.
Turns out using Add/Remove programs makes the free trial software go away and is reported as removed. I rebooted the system.
I then wanted to install my Anti-virus program and it reported McAfee is still present and cannot install the anti-virsu program that I want.
This kind of trickery stinks. and the more companies like McAfee (supported by Office Depot) do this stuff the less I want to use their products.
How can I remove all traces of McAfee from this system ?
