Slow remote desktop connection after Symantec EPP Install

Hi every body,

I'm having problem in my servers, after I install a managed version of  Symantec EPP 11.0.3001 on a windows server 2003 R2 SP2, I get problem that connecting to this server remotely using windows xp remote desktop becomes very slow until it gives me the following error:

"Your Remote Desktop session has ended. the connection to the remote computer was lost, possibly due to network connectivity problems. Try connecting to the remote computer again. If the problem continues, contact your network administrator or technical support"

I appreciate your support :)

Make sure you installed ONLY the anti-virus componant and NOT the firewall.

But I need it installed with the firewall, from the management I allowed every thing and still it's slow.

I am assuming your network is protected by a firewall.  Installing any software firewall on a server is not a good idea and will be the cause of issues like this.  I would remove it unless it is all that is between you and the internet.  With that said I would remove once I purchased a hardware firewall for this job.
