Access Denied to Drive C (I am the admin, and there is no network)

I was messing around with permissions for Drive C
As I was logged in as the Admin I assumed that denying access to autherised users and user group that this would not affect my access as an administrator. It appears that I was wrong.

I notice that other people have done similar things. However I am not on a network so I cant do what the solution said to do.

Any help on this would be great

I am running windows vista 64

regards

a Nub

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if you are the admin of the pc, you should be able to take ownership.  this should reset the permission.
