How to drop ASM diskgroup

Hi,
I am new to ASM and am trying to drop a BACKUP diskgroup in a RAC env. I have dropped the diskgroup but still see iin ASM_DISKGROUP and ASM_DISK.

What is the full process as these files are raw devices on a SAN as well and I'd like to tidy it all up.

drop diskgroup backup;

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is probably not the correct zone for this question. This is SQL Server Integration Services. Are you trying to write this job into an SSIS package to run agains an Oracle db?
