sql server 2008 can not save new colum

How can I create new column and update in column in my database table in SQLserver 2008. When I save it , they force me to save in text file and the warning message below appear all the time. Finally I can not save my new column that I make. I can not turn off my computer now...since my new table that I make will disappear when  I turn off.  Please help me ?

    are you saving the column at the end of the table or in the middle?

    You can go into your options and change the new to 2008 value that prevents the gui from rebuilding a table. Or you can take the text of that change and run it in a query window.
